I’ve had more than my share of problems with companies that have absolutely no concern about the true welfare of their employees. I’ve seen them discipline or even fire people who stayed home from work because they were so sick they couldn’t make it to a doctor, had a seriously ill child, or had major home damage – disciplined or fired just because they couldn’t produce a piece of paper backing up their “story.”
I learned that even though it may not be the ideal way to deal with these types of situations, many people have no alternative other than to resort to a fake doctor’s note. So I started this site to let people know there is a way to fight the tyrannical behavior of big companies and HR departments.
I hope it helps a lot of people to watch out for their own welfare. Their employers usually won’t.
